When choosing a blockchain to help us create the MetaSportGallery.com platform, we looked at the different options very carefully. We chose the Polygon network for it’s Proof of Stake blockchain technology - which uses about 1000 times less energy than the majority of existing NFT platforms. This means the energy it takes to run is about the same as running your computer. This means we can leave our mark on the world through art, not the environment. It doesn't stop there though, Polygon is looking to the future to continually improve the energy it requires and we will see even our small power usage become less and less.
What is Blockchain
